The spanish have a word that describes this car very well...mierda.
Suffice to say that even for a yank tank it handles poorly, is bog slow, uses fuel as if the stuff was going out of style, displays no discernable roadholding capabilities, understeers like a shopping cart, and to top it all off, is a 20 year old car with all of the ride-handling compromises that underinflated bias-ply tires give.

Over here cars like that are used for driving around fields and jumping things.
Actually they can work pretty well for off-roading because the suspension is so soft, as long as you keep the momentum up
so yeah, as a fun contraption to rip around in it's pretty good assuming you own oil stock!

1976 through about 1980/1981 where the absolute worst years for any american automobile. These were the years when amrican car manufacturers where trying to hit emissions and fuel economy standards...
...You get cubic inches, but you get horsepower and torque figures in the 125 to 165 range (even for the big V8's) and the cars still carried TONS of weight (literally).
