GT3 Clutch Pedal

Hey lads, was out earlier and have noticed my clutch pedal gets heavier and lighter as you drive. Every 5/10 clutch movements are light, then I get and hear a slight clunk in the pedal and it gets heavier, and vice versa. Is there a problem with master/slave cylinders?? Clutch picks up half way and has no slip. Could it be a sign she is on the way out?? would appreciate any feedback..

My 996TT was a little like this, popped off the plastic cover to the left of the battery (ie drivers side) & checked the master cylinder reservoir to find it very over filled (it was throwing out liquid as it warmed up)
Removed some liquid down to the right level & all was fine.

Worth checking this first.
