Just a constructive comment to the powers that be.

PH is one of a very few number of public sites that is reasonably "family friendly". Couple this with the fact that broadband wireless means you can access the web anywhere in the house - I'm currently sitting in my lounge with the telly on and helping my kids with their homework. As such, it's a little embarrasing when suddenly half naked ladies appear on a forum and one of my kids (or dare I say the wife) is looking over my shoulder!

Not sure what the answer is, but I thought I'd mention it!

Its a changing membership on here, even from (dare I say it) a couple of years ago.

Although compared to a couple of other car forums I visit, still better by far.

From my point of view,
enlarging the sin-bin to accomodate any errant postee's
would leave it quite an empty place.

I as many people here, choose to view the entire range of posts, but I suppose you might
avert your eyes to the less raucous forums, and hope for the best.

Please report the threads in question.

My attitude to it hasn't changed. I'll tolerate a few grid girls () but anything more graphic should either be linked to rather than embedded or not posted at all thank you very much

Perhaps it would be possible to formalise some sort of NSFW thread rating with a user option to hide those threads. I'm envisaging this as working similar to the 'thumbs up'/'thumbs down' rating system as something that users could click on to ask a moderator to flag the thread as NSFW. Just an idea.

I'd rather people understood that NSFW stuff simply isn't welcome.

Could you point me to the thread where semi-naked ladies suddenly appear? I havn't really seen anything that tickles my fancy so i'm hoping i've missed something?

Thanks in advance,
Rob.

It's all very well taking pee, but you haven't got young kids looking over your shoulder every two minutes.

If you're implying anything about the pictures posted of "alizee" then she's a pop star, and you see far worse on music channels. I can't think of anything that's been posted on here which A)Has been anything that should be after a watershed, and B)Hasn't been on a "silly" thread anyway.

Personally i'm more concerned there's been a thread in General Gassing about a Radio 1 advert for days now, it's so blatently in the wrong forum it's enough to give me a stomouch ulcer.

Cheers,
Rob.
