yes... he had made me aware of this issue. it was a good 19 months ago and many miles have been done since so i'm not overly concerned. i'm not expecting the caterham ownership expeience to be trouble free, but i am expecting it to be considerably cheaper than gt2 ownership...

I wouldn't worry - just enjoy! K's blow head gaskets, just deal with it if it happens, but obviously all the bad luck used up on that car!

Yeah - then the head warps and...

...always make sure you warm it up properly - including the oil, especially the oil. Takes a good 10 minutes on a K

Owning a car with a highly tuned K must be like being married to Jordan - one minute you think all's fine and dandy and she's performing at the top of her game, the next she kicks you in the balls and refuses to perform for no apparent reason

I see my K as more of a Cameron Diaz. A nice mover and svelte with it. Jordan sounds rather surgically enhanced with bolt-on bits you don't really need; too much is not always a good thing. I see that as being more like a Vauxhall engined car.... Discuss

Jordan? Let me think, what comes to mind about Jordan, fake and plastic, ermm are we talking about caterhams? does fake and plastic remind you of any other car, maybe beginning with the letter W?

Well I did about 20k miles (incl trackdays) in an R300 and an R400 with no problems, absolutely superb cars. I miss mine. A lot.
