VMAX on 18th Feb in a yellow GT3??

Was anyone here doing the VMAX run at Bruntingthorpe this weekend just gone in a yellow GT3?

I was doing the track-club day in the caterhams and saw you limp out with what sounded like a dropped cylinder.

What happened? How bad was it?

Yes, I kept slowing down so the GT3 could try to catch up....

For my part I was 'winding' Pikey up.[Saturday, Sunday] I was at home thinking of ways of how not to embarrass Porsche Ferrari etc,with the excess speed of the SL....

Why did you not consider an AMG mobile as a base car from which to launch your assault on Mach 2?

Dunno who was organising the VMAX day. I was on a track-club day which was seperate (apart from sharing a parallel bit of tarmac) so couldn't answer

note taken to GT3 blew up, I think it was on the way out tbh and you got lucky in the SL as he was limping along before it went pop.
