What is going on with 360 prices. A very well respected Indy has an 01 Spider priced at £89,500, in the PH classifieds (GI Jnr) has the same year and spec car for £72k
Who is pulling who's plonker ?

the indy probably has the car up at SOR - I'd expect GI's car to be about on the money. Of course private sale will be cheaper than dealer by several k anyway and an optomistic seller + dealer margin = big price differential...

I agree. Its a case of is the price difference worth it for condition, service history, and dealer support, comeback and warranty.

Above that, the overall leveller is that a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, simple as that. The Spider at 72k is a great price and will probably sell soon. Cant say the same for the other. But, then again cash is king, as is being in the right place at the right time.

Past experience with SOR tells me that dealers work off a £10k margin, Maranellos included. Of course the old adage about cash is king and what somebody is prepared to pay can be applied to almost any commodity, but in this case nearly £18k buys a shed load of warranty !
