Share broadband pop3 account across a peer to peer network?
Discussion
HAve been reading around to see if possible, before spending any money...
Have a small network (5 pc's) w2k and xppro, 2 workgropus for 2 business applications.
One other XP pro machine currently not on the network, with broadband (wanadoo) and pop3 email account (one email address)
To keep things relatively simple. I would like to add this machimne to a network. ie get a physicaa lan connection installed in this office and a broadband router, connecting it to the existing lan with an 8 port switch. Create 2 more wanadoo email accounts. BUt configure it so that the original email address only downloads to that origibnal machine. AND each new email address only downloads to an individual machine. ie each machine only sends recieves emails associated to a unique email address. Is this possible (either outlook express or outlook.
Is is so obvious, i can't find how to do it written down, or you can't do this?
Cheers

It is indeed obvious if you know. Connect machines on LAN. Set each machine's copy of Outlook/OE to connect to the ISP's mail server using the account details for that individual account and that really is it. Each machine will have it's own POP3 account which will download only it's own e-mail.
MAny thanks. had had a bit of an experiment with a NTL account. and it seemed that you could do it... Just so obvious to do in a say small home network, yet know one ie wanadoo, ntl suggest how to do this to have an email address for each machine, so started 2nd guessing myself, that not possible
