Marc,

GTM has been using GAZ for the last few years. To be honest I am not convinced of the quality of these items. For sure the corrosion protection leaves something to be desired. Also the adjuster mechanism gets stuck after a while.
GTM have been working with Pro Tech to get some ally shocks made. Corrosion protection is still important with aluminium of cource, the adjusting mechanish has a much better look and feel. GTM have been using a prototype set for a while. I have ordered a set of these shocks from GTM last week. My car is not finished yet, so I cannot tell you what they are like quickly. Besides that I cannot compare them with GAZ shocks 'cause I never had them on my car.

Early cars used AVO, then Gaz (current) and future Pro tech if they ever get it sorted out (has been years so far!). They aren't a conventional design that you can get off the shelf (rears anyway) as they have quite a long extension piece.
