Yesterday after a good clean and small run I now have a problem.
No wipers. The control box is clicking so power reaching it from the buttons also washer jets still working.
Have had a search, removed cover but there seems to be a second cover riveted under the windscreen rubber?
No way can I get in to access the wiper unit. Am I missing something?
I have Rainx’d the screen and have to go up north to Chesterfield tomorrow so will pop in on Joo, maybe try another control box.
Any ideas? I guess it has to be either the park switch thingy or the wiper motor itself or a dodgy connection.

Nick.
Ps not burn marks on control unit.

Can you see this? It should be visible. Don't think the expansion tank is in the way. Mine just needed the connector cleaning up. It worked fine after that.

Scott. Blurred as fu*k. Having said that, my photo is too far away.

Let me help.

When my park switch failed, it was just the intemitent mode that stopped working.

Quick mess around.

.......wish I could make other things bigger so easily [/pic]

I had to move the coolant bottle out of the way. No need to remove it. Also had to loosen the wiper motor. Is a bar steward of a job if you've got big hands. Have a word with Joo tomorrow. He told me what to do.

Don't have to wory about asking Julz, what else is there to have done?, mine has everything.
Well apart from the larger disks ala Satman, Would an Emerald be worth while, yeah as the man has said, it is a lot easier for playing with upgrades. When the pipes turn up I'll give my car to Joo and, well we'll see what happens.

I would have liked to see the finished short pipe design. Do you think the ultimate upgrade is the four vale head from Autocraft?
Obviously if you where going to do this you would have to beef up the drive train, and well sod it you mayaswell get them to fit a sequential box while your at it........
That would be a fitting Cerb M2.
Nick.
