Recently near Rhyl, N.Wales I was driving along near a school. There were several kids on the pavement.

As I approached a pedestrian crossing, two of these kids looked at my car and put a foot on the crossing as if to cross the road. I duly stopped to allow them across; they thought it a big joke and stepped back onto the pavement.

As I began began to move forward, they stepped back on the crossing, causing me to stop again. Hugely funny.

Luckily, twice was enough for them but what would the law say if I had ignored them and driven on whilst they had a foot on the crossing.

Could I be accused of failing to give precedence?

Sadly running over said feet might have been the only way to teach these dozy t*ssers a lesson...

I usually just rev my engine hard and edge forward a little as if I'm about to blast off - they usually shit their pants and run off!

Whilst the onus on you Tafia if there is a pedestrian on the crossing to give precedence other wise offence committed, likewise it is an offence for a pedestrian to remain on the carriageway within the limits of a crossing longer than is necesssary fopr that pedestrian to pass over the crossing with reasonable despatch.

I think they did the photo whilst walking?

Unless there is a separate offence for one of them walking barefoot....

Nah, that was because he was dead, or something

About a month ago I was driving down a side street in Edinburgh, I was only going about 20mph. Two kids (well 16ish, chav looking. i.e tracksuit and baseball caps), walked across the road and then stopped in front of me. I stopped and waited, they seemed to think it was funny blocking my way. After about 5 seconds one of them kicked my front wing, which they both found hilarious. At this point I was very angry and opened the car door. One of them then spat at me and they both ran off! I couldn't believe it! Why are some people like that, and why do they find it so funny?

Looking back at it I wish I had just driven into them.. but what if I had hit them? I would be the criminal.. makes me angry just thinking about it again!

It seem semi-morons are free to run amongst us like wolves amongst chickens. They can do as they wish whilst if we react....court.

or the pelican crossings

its the one opportunity kids have to control anything
beyond a playstation (that's fitted with a push button)

like moths to a flame they are.

Having said that, how many times a day, do you see gormless mothers hanging around the same crossing either
sniffing the wind for the nearest shoe shop to run to, or deep in gossip mode with each other

oblivious to anything about them but the loud bleeping noises,
drowning out their conversations every few minutes
