I really dont like the colour codes vents, spoiler and splitter.

It needs some contrasting colour to break it up a bit.

yep I think so too...then it looks more special, more raw not that 1 in a dozen type a car...
I'm waiting to see the S in black, anyone have already picture's of a black Exige S?? show us...I wanted to see if its still special anough black is black in most other cases I like tho see the intakes and spoilers black/carbon look

Hi all,
I'll be a new Lotus owner in 2006 (Previous cars = 106 Gti, TVR Cerbera & Clio 182 Cup) - This weekend I ordered a Graphite Grey Exige S - Spec: Sports pack, Aircon, Level2 S/Exhaust and Amourfend. - The car is due mid April and I cannot wait.

PS - I little bit of me is wondering whether I should have ordered it in Phantom Black or Solar Yellow - Not sure what this new yellow will look like in the metal as it is a met Lambo style paint with gold flecks in it.

PPS: I've got a strong feeling that Exige S engines could easily be turned into 240R'sCups via a simple ECU Flash. - Can anyone confirm this?

I was wondering the same thing, A cup dealer can re flash a std cars ecu. If the rest of the system is as Lotus says the same as the 240 and the GT3 then it should be straight forward. I would ask my dealer but he is on holiday till March.... anyone else confirm this?

Incidentally there is already a pulley kit for the 240 cars and this should give over 260 and does not need a re flash(the 240 map remains the same) according to my dealer. So if we can get our cars to 240 spec we have many possibilities.

I have ordered a Aspen White Exige S, with sports pack, super sports pack and ac. Mid April delivery

Mate, I'd be less worried about tyres than depreciation. Tyres are gonna be small beans!

yeah - youre not kidding ! ...dont worry about servicing or tyres only lasting 3K on the rear...its the £500 per month depreciation thats the killer on a new un

still...not an issue if you keep it long enough - it will go up in value
