decided today was the day to put in a new battery - unfortunately when removing the old unit I suspect I have broken a connection, I shall explain :-

at the positive terminal my battery has a main red lead (the big un) and a pair of smaller wires( about 10" long )connected to a common terminal unfortunately this has come adrift from whatever it was connected to - any ideas where these 2 common wires should be connected back to - the only likely place looks to be the bottom of the fuse box and it looks likely that I have pulled the terminal from this when sliding back the battery box. I ve checked in the 'bible' and can't see any reference to these 2 wires

TIA

problem sorted this morning - my fusebox looks to be a bit of a lash up and the paird wires I mentioned was in fact the supply to the board .Unfortunately whoever had repaired the board hadn't made a very good job of it with a dodgy supply line that had a very poor connection on to a nut on the front of the fusebox??
I have rewired the supply back to the as made connection on the back of the box, unfortunately after changing battery, new plugs, and carrying out the above still had no starting - eventually traced to poor connection at fuel pump , once cleaned and made good fired up first time
now time to give it to reeducate the ecu
