Totally reliable Noble so whats wrong?

At a bit of a loss, fair enough I haven't advertised the car elsewhere other than an aborted ebay session when a false bid destroyed the auction, but other than a few emails of 'wots your best price for cash?'only one person has actually come to see the car.
I realise a few will be put off by receiving the running costs/service bills, thinking a 25k car must be affordable when in reality if you maintain the factory history as per schedule it's not the most economical car in the world (but what do people expect to pay for supercar performance??).
Yup it has a few stonechips on the front but lordy, wouldn't you rather have that problem over reliability???

Took me a couple of months to shift my GTO3 last year.
You've got to bare in mind that it is a very limited market you're selling to, and that most people who are looking have a pretty clear idea of exactly what they're after.
Not suggesting that you're selling a bad car or looking for a duff price, just remember there aren't actually that many people who have the combination of; disposable cash, desire to own a Noble and of those that do many preffer to buy from a dealer for that added security/warranty etc.

This is a superb deal on a really good looking motor and there WILL be people wanting to buy at some point - we need some sun first I think! It's like all trading situations - if you can wait you'll get yourself a decent price, if you need cash now you may need to take a hit!
Try eBay again, ring around the dealers for a SOR (Sale Or Return) deal and keep "networking" here and elsewhere until it goes to a new home.

Yep, agree on all points, but given that I think it's fair to assume 'most' potential owners have at least a smidgen of vehicle knowledge and I believe warranties available to purchase, I thought that a factory service would be a better option than buying from some dealers. Horses for courses I guess!
AMG- Not in any massive rush and yes, a bit of sun wouldn't go a miss
trouble is i think,is that many folk have a car to sell first.
i would definately look at your car,im even quite local being just down the A1 at doncaster,your car is one of my preferred colours and is a good price BUT i have got to move my Tuscan first if im going to buy private or its a dealer px i suppose.

house move for me first THEN im allowed to start looking.... 
it used to be my car,loved it to bits and regret selling it to be honest
i was the one who replaced the ecu had the fans fitted and upgraded the exhaust
to the twin pipes, the first time it had been done by the factory,i believe
that joust was the second.
i also upgraded the stereo with focal speakers and new head unit at
vast expense because i thought the sony stuff was complete garbage!
also, to be fair, its listed as 3 previous owners which i guess is
strictly true, but in reality it was registered to the garage i bought
it from before me, so not really an " owner" as such
think that i bought it for £46k and to think that blot is finding it
hard to sell at 25 is a tough one. i know when i put it on the market
i was worried that i wouldnt be able to sell her but sold in 3 weeks
in middle of freeezing feb,got lucky i guess.
wish they were that price when i bought it jeepers!

blot, i am really interested in your Noble as i am currently looking around for used 2.5s as my possible next car. Only problem is for me that i am forcing myself to try other cars as well before i rush in and get a Noble. Because after i drove on i wanted it there and then.
The one thing that might be making it harder to sell your car is the highish milage. For an everyday car that is normal for a 3 year old car, but on a hand built supercar i imagine it might put people off when they are unsure of just how long the engine will last.
When i do get to drive the other cars and come to the inveitable conclusion that i still want a Noble i will have to see about coming to have a look at yours if i can't find anything near by.
Regardless of this, good luck with the selling, don't give up hope.

Tip.............Save time by not bothering to test other cars. You know its pointless.
There are plenty of cars out there with over 40k miles on the and they have not had engine problems. The engine in question is a duratec which is a tried and tested lump with a superb track record. They are used in many cars around the world like the big Ford Explorers and Taurus and also in the recent Aston Martin cars (2 bolted together)
I would say that in a high milage car thats been looked after, the engine itself is going to be one of the last things to go bang!!
One nice thing about Noble as a handbuilt car is its overall reliability in its class. Its generally superb!

I do like the Noble M12 - lovely car - but a 1 year warranty on a £50k car always puts me off, its like the're telling you its going to go wrong!!!
Nearly went for an M400 last year but spent slightly less cash on an evo FQ400 and got a 3 year warranty, which seems crazy to me buts that's the way it is - shame really (although more than happy with the evo it must be said).
I think Noble selling a brand new car with only 12 months warranty:
A. puts people off them new
and
B. makes people even more warry when buying secondhand.

I fear you are right !!
as you, nearly moved to a m400 but bought a csl with ap's with 12 month Manu warranty remaining. great car! still like the idea of a noble sometime though!
tvr now carry 3yrs and so will/must nobles in the hopefully near future
perhaps the new m15 will be the the place to start, particularly if guys are going to be enticed out of German cars in favor of a £80000.00 spec'd noble ? I for one, sincerely hope the company have the financial strength and depth to achieve this over the next critical period of the company's growth.
