Hi All

I wonder if anyone has had this fault before: Fault 146 "F RAM failure" on a T350?

I had this on start up on a cold morning this weekend and it seems to have caused the computer to think that there is a light on all the time. When I take the key out of the ignition the computer refuses to shut down any displays the "Lights On" warning, even though everything is off. The "handbrake on" light is also displayed. But the key isn't in the ignition and no lights are on?! I tried turning the engine over a few times but the errors didn't clear themselves.

The result is that the battery has now gone flat and despite charging the car will not start - not even a flicker of life actually.

Anybody experienced this before or have any thoughts?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Mike

Hi

Just an update - the fuel system won't pressurise now, despite jump starting and resetting the inertia switch , and so the dealer is coming with his trailer tomorrow.

I'll let you know the results of fault 146, but I think it might mean a new ECU....

Hello mate,

I've just posted a new topic yesterday having the same problem.

Did you ever get it sorted?
