How long until overtaking is illegal?
Discussion
I was thinking about this after I read a quote from a councillor or someone on this site along the lines of "These traffic calming measures will help prevent overtaking".
Accidents are caused by bad, dangerous, aggressive overtaking, and that's all the excuse the government needs to make it illegal and clamp own on it, just like they have done with driving fast.
The only point in our favour is that it would be difficult to detect the offence with an automated tax collector!

If they ban overtaking they might as well also ban sex; good food; alcohol; gatherings of more than 3 non-related people; going out after dark; the internet and all other things that make life worth living.

The only trace of Iguana's passing will a wake of flattened pedestrians, cyclists and lamposts, order is restored with the universe....
Bonce, sound's like you've stumbled unwittingly upon their master plan, Don't worry, we'll protect you....
...what did you say again?

I'm starting to wonder whether there is any point having the physical/mental capability for free thought. It seems quite clear to me that the Government would be deliriously happy if everyone acted like drones - driving spot on the speed limit all of the time (not a mph too much/too less), everyone travelling around in one long convoy, no-one doing anything that could possibly be seen as "different".
How many more laws and systems do they think they can get away with forcing on us before we crack? The treatment that Gatso's are taking is surely a sign that people have had enough

No Bonce, we can't all live in Norfolk.

I've just realised that all the items I listed can easily be combined. Unless you live in Norfolk, in which case it'll be 3 members of your own family.
THIS COUNTRY SUCKS!!!!
