What's with the little descriptions, how does one qualify as a gasbag? Or does this post answer itself?

I thought that it seemed to be retrospective. I looked at a thread that Ted closed a couple of days ago on which I’d added one or 10 comments. My status as ‘Gasbag’ was confirmed there!! umm…. seems only to confirm the Mrs theories does that

Wa hay! a Gasbag as well, this has made my evening, having just been severely beaten by the wife for not hoovering the house, not doing the washing and not even unpacking the dishwasher!.....Back to smacking the monkey,see the link in gassing about ferrari exhaust systems, now discovered it is 10.35 and I am due to leave for work in 7 hours time.....no peace for the wicked.

Can you believe this guy? Ted, full marks for bowing and scraping but you shouldn't have had to do it. I can only suggest that in your 'conditions of joining' you mention that these assignments may be used, and if anyone throws their toys out of the pram, they shouldn't join this most useful, powerful, intelligent and well-informed community.

Jim, sorry, Jim McFadden: The system was introduced in an attempt to differentiate between real members anr trolls. In particular, me (a genuine PHer) and a deliberately troublemaking imposter who pretended to be me and then used the deception to post things that were *really* extreme and offensive - far worse than 'gasbag'. Passing off, defamation, libel - now that's really something to go for. Not 'gasbag'. Go get some air!
