Tomorrow is the day.

The GTR arrived in Hong Kong yesterday..... luckily HK customs clearance is very fast... I could have had the car today but I was out of town, so I am meeting the car at the forwarders tomorrow morning to make sure they lift the crates carefully onto the truck... then its off to my place for the opening ceremony.

Did you opt for the optional (but must have) Possum fir lined interior ;-) or if you want to make your own from ours, you're welcome, as we have about 4 or 5 of them for every person in OZ!!

These are crappy shots I took off the video.

I am stoked at the colour of the upholstery... I chose it off a 1" square sample and its always dangerous doing that....but it turned out great!!

Yep - first Ultima in HK.

I'm on the Kowloon side...Clearwater Bay.... but I must say I feel like I live in Happy Valley....check out the photo on my sig for the sign near my house

I've put both seats in there and laid the dash trim in to get a sneak preview....I'll get some better shots tomorrow

Nah mate.... it's only a 90mm TB.... it was a bit tight so I took it easy on her and had to settle for a big hug.



Have a list of things for my fabricator to get cracking on:

Windows - noticed yesterday that the mirror base protrudes over the opening - will have to be modifed also.

Pedals - gonna remake the pedals and the footpads in alloy

Airbox

Side Scoops

Grills

Rear Undertray

Stainless Bulkhead

Wiper Arms.... gonna see if I can make something tidy for this. I dont like the way it finishes @ the body..

Latches - not a fan of cad plated steel
