996 Leather Trim Repair

I have recently acquired a '99 996 which is great. The leather fronted side panels in the rear have a few dents (probably from suitcases etc). The leather hasn't been broken and I was wondering if any of you folk have come across any remedies to remove said dents. Thanks.

There was a post some time ago about re-connollising (sp.?) interiors, with links to various companies. I can't find it, though, as the Search function won't play ball. It was within the last six months; somebody posted before and after pics that were very impressive.

If they are just dents, and the leather isn't scatched than you can use a hair dryer. works a treat

Pretty good company near manchester calledd ssctrimming. They do reconalising, and full retrims. The guy is really friendly and fixed quite a few of our cars. He did minor repairs to a rip in leather on an ML, full retrim to a Civic Type R, and ciggerate burn to a 911. He really is very good. website is www.ssctrimming.co.uk and they guy is called Mark. Worth a ring if nothing else.

I also have a few dents in the passenger seat of my 996. I would be interested in more details of the hairdryer technique. Is it just warming up the leather while apppying some leather treatment or ???
