How convenient.....Mondays happen to be one of my days off.......think I shall have to take go along & take a look & decide whether I'd rather watch DTM or WTC....(although it'll probably end up being both as they're using different circuits!).

Eh? EH? Now THAT was some impressive stuff today! My god can I not wait for July 2nd to come around!
Only about 7 or 8 cars there today (that we saw up until around 1pm-ish) including Stoddart, Frentzen, De La Rosa, Stippler, Schneider & a couple of others.
The noise and spectacle of 16 or so of those monsters screaming their way around that tiny track gives me goosebumps just thinking about it!

That is just what I was going to say. I am so glad I taken the day off to see the cars in action. You would never have that kind of freedom on race day, and there was also access to the pits. Got some great picture and the cars where out most of the day. And DAM they are fast. Put "British Touring Cars" To shame.
I was there all day from about 10-am to 5pm. Got to meet some great people too. And managed to be in the right place, in the right time too see 3 crash from the Mercedes cars, the last one was big, got souvenirs from the cars. Lots of carbon fibre body parts. Me happy.
If anyone would like to see the pics, let me know.

Dammitt! I think we turned up as they were pulling the first one out, 2nd one we were elsewhere on the circuit & we we'd left by the time of 3rd one............but pit access? ARGHHHHHHH!!!!! We didn't even bother going to look as we figured it would be a no-no.
We spent all our time wandering around everywhere and as such found a place where you can view the ENTIRE circuit! Which is why we're now going to need to turn up stupidly early to make sure we can get that spot!
And yes I wanna see the pics!

Excellent photos - wish I'd got some new batteries for my SLR now...
Does anyone know what was picked up on the Cooper straight? The commentator thought it might have been a brake disc but seeing as it fell off Kristensen's car when he was putting in the fastest lap so far I'd say that was pretty unlikely!
