Can't add .zip attachments in outllook...?

Using Outlook 2003 on Win XP - trying to add .zip file attachments to emails and I can't even see them.

Can't recall ever having a problem in the past. Any ideas?

its a default security setting in 2003, you need to modify outlook to let it use certain
attachments such as .zip and .bat.
