Hi there all,

I'm one of those who lurks around in the background but rarely posts - but this needs S-H-O-U-T-I-N-G from the rooftops!

If anyone out there is considering the Offord's Cherry Bomb conversion - just do it!

I had it done a couple of days ago and it's absolutely fantastic! Pops 'n' bangs on overrun already, AND I believe it gets even better with time! I've heard the sleepyfish sound files of before and after, but as good as they are they simply don't do it justice!

Small children & the elderly beware . . .

About 110 ish, or so I'm told.
Don't have a db meter so afraid I can't be more accurate.

Also don't have a meter - but really wouldn't say it's THAT much louder than before - just a deeper V8 rumble that sounds like it's spitting fire & means business.

Everyone who has this done gives very positive results and comments afterwards.
On behalf of a freind,is there anywhere in the west midlands that does this?
It's not for me as i think i might just over-step the mark a bit,the stereo is already redundant

Sorry, can't help with Midlands info.

Thanks Zippee - great choice yourself - lots to say about blue being by far the bestest of course!

I'm in Wootton, near Bedford, giving me an ideal route to take ALL the back roads to Offord's!

I,ve had the cherry bombs put in and it sounds bloody lovely it was Offords that done mine.Dropped it off in the morning picked it up in the afternoon well worth the money, the pops and bangs on the over-run are just heaven..... ..........and the drive home took me nearly 5 hours, just didn,t want to stop driving the thing.......

Well, not that much louder INSIDE the car!

Offords are in Offord D'Arcy - near St. Neots. There's a map at www.offord.com

Offord's are based in Offord Cluny in the Cambs area they have a map on their website.
you can usually find me there most Saturday mornings!
Zippee's Chim is well worth a listen too i've had the pleasure of being behind him several times and the noise is just great you get the most delicious gurgle when pulling away.

Speak to Hoover (Pre-Cat griff with Offords cherry bombs) or Hughsie who has had his cats removed along with the exhaust conversion.
Hoovers Griff sounds fantastic!!!

Had ours done last week at Offords, sounds bloomin lovely, they even lent me a Saab 9000 to play with while it was being done. Took three and a half hours.
