We're switching to it soon. Use hummingbirs at the moment which is a pile of cack, to put it lightly. And an expensive one at that.

Have a few clients who use it.

was a little 'fun' to setup initially, but not heard from the client in a good few months now, so assume its fine.

Little sketchy on this now but i think if you want the sharepoint to cross-reference multiple databases, websites, network shares when searching and linking resources etc then you'll need the portal version. The version that comes with windows is pretty heavily restricted. It looked good from what i saw though

You might also want to take a seaky peek at Microsoft Project Server as well. Use it combined with SPS, and you get all sorts of clever stuff going on, across multiple PM, and resources. Good kit.

we've got it and are about to start using it - have just bought 2 very good books on it.

its used quite widely in schools but am sure industry will catch up soon

links nicely into office 2003 with good doc management - sharepoint serv is free so give it a go.

Yep, used it with Visual Studio since early beta... very nice and easy to use.

Also look at Wiki as a cheap alternative.
