I'm about to pick up a ZX 6R ( 2005 pre reg bike) and have read in various places ( TWO and others ) that if you plan to do track days then a steering damper is going to be advisable
anyone got any direct experience here - and if so what did they fit

I would have thought the steering damper would be more useful when powering down bumpy roads compared to a nice smooth track?
