where can I get manual?
Discussion
If you get in contact with trextr7monkey, he will no doubt be able to help you out. You should be able to PM him from this site via his profile or click onto one of his postings.
Alternatively, contact him via the Jago Owners Club web site. Another very wise link to look at for correct advice will be Chris' tech page....hope this helps....again, the link is in the 'sticky' thread at the top of the page.
Good luck with your Jeep

Just an after thought........half built???? would this be a new build or a half built re-build? Those that know me will probably smile when they read this, what's on the log book (sorry I'm old...registration certificate) please tell me it says 'Jago' on there somewhere!
The steering column is attached by a bracket bolted onto the bodywork/windshield surround.....you'll be able to see what I mean once you get the manual.

the Jago chassis number is usually on the front suspension strut mount.....look for something like JEE71183, the last two numbers will be the year the chassis was made, the other numbers denoting the number 7th Jeep produced in November (I think it's that way round)
So, if your Jeep is not registered etc., and a new build, then you may well be amongst the first Jago builders to SVA a Jago Jeep?? Whether or not you become a member of the Jago Owner's Club and contribute to the JOC Forum or continue on here (or both lol) I think your build will make interesting and informative reading for a lot of people.
The bracket which holds my steering column to the scuttle/windshield is very substantial and has given no problems. However, entering SVA territory is someting that I am not experienced in and would advise you to seek advice from someone with first hand/proffesional knowledge.
I can only try to help out as a 'friend' I've picked up a lot of useful information from both forums, but do beware as there can be well meaning advice/ideas given which really should be filed in the capital 'C' drawer
There are some very knowledgable people in the JOC, who I'm sure will help you out.

I am assuming you got no paperwork whatsoever with the vehicle , if that is the case I would recommend your first course of action is to complete a V5 application form send it with your £19 to DVLA with the chassis number you have found , at least that way you will know if it has been previously registered and whether you will then have to incorporate any changes for SVA compliance.
The main issues for a Geep/Sandero are likely to be bonnet locking devices , a dual circuit braking system , an effective demisting system , the internal/external protrusions issue , and perhaps the collapsible steering column and impact absorbing wheel as what may have been the norm in '79 when the last donor was built might not be to today's standard.
99.9% of it is common sense and as the similarly styled Eagle RV has recently been made SVA friendly a little forward planning would make for a less traumatic experience.
I wish you all the best with your project , for further details of the Jago Owners Club and to join the lively discussion forum go to www.jagoownersclub.co.uk
