Anyone else think "with force" needed to be in that sentence?

Very Odd!!! Sounds like he's about 12 years old from his descriptions!

Interestingly he's bought Elise wing mirrors, a smashed up front clam & other mini stuff & sold Corsa stuff...maybe he's re-building his Corsa into an Elise-Mini Combo so he can go cruzin' the streets....aiiii

The huge wrenched up lump of metal on the top of the head unit is making me doubt it genuine origins!!!

The no faceplate tends to give it that stolen feel.

edit:- he should team up with the guys that nicked my faceplate for one of these years ago

ATTENTION!
if you live in Chishester and had your stereo nicked from your S2, i have some information for you!

Advert reads:
Features: Removable Front Panel

Then he says:
"Hi You are looking at a head unit that came out of a Lotus elise s2 (This unit comes with NO face) Thanks for looking"

So the 'feature' would be, i'll give you the address of the unluck barstuard i nicked it from, maybe he'll do you a deal on the face plate so you can use the head unit if your bids successful.

You just wanna beat them about the head don't you! Or is that just me? Maybe get the winning bid and tell them you want to collect it from him in person for cash? And have a Chichester policeman with you at the time?

Reminds me of the adverts you see in 'LOOT', always a favourite for passing on stolen goods as far as I could see! Just gets my back up this type of thing. I'm sure i'm not alone in having items stolen from my cars in the past.

yeah it's tempting but an absolute no no!

Fortunately, I'm certain we're not the only people to look at an e-bay ad for a radio with no face plate and a busted security cage and think "hmmmmm".

Yep - I say track them down, burn their homes, kill their sheep and cattle.... Oh wait this is England.

Still, it does look particularly dubious. I have an old headset with a faceplate (upgraded to a new one) - I don't even think it is worth putting on ebay.

Make an offer, arrange to buy in person. Turn up to buy it...with several friends!!!

They won't do it again...

Oh sorry, this is England isn't it, we send criminal kids on holidays because they're 'misunderstood'!!!

I'm not going to pretend I'm intrigued as hell to the answer

Edit: gooby, was this your question;
"I am interested in this item, can you tell me how to obtain a facia for it and why the cage is damaged?" ??? or is there another waiting to be answered?

Gooby, that was my question which I just asked. 'Where did you obtain this from? Did you upgrade the stereo in your Lotus?'

Let's see if he answers...
