Right, things are getting a bit interesting at PH this year and my time and my skills are both limited. I also want to improve the quality of how PH appears in its various guises.

I therefore need to get some help with things like design of literature (leaflets, magazine ads etc) and with getting some web templates/sites designed for the various PH spin offs. I need web templates that I can plug my code into.

So, I'd like to hear from people who are

- talented graphically
- skilled in producing XHTML/CSS based site designs
- artistic (I need logos designed etc, so an imagination as well as the photoshop skills are required)
- are available to do work every now and again (it's not a full time job by any means. But I need someone who I can call upon once a month or so to do a job and not be told that they're busying for the next six weeks ).

If there's anyone who fits the bill and can show me evidence of their enormous talent then please get in touch. I'm looking to form a long term relationship (no jokes please) with someone I can trust. If you happened to be located to the West of London/Buckinghamshire it might help as person-to-person meetings are often more productive than trying to do stuff on the phone/email.

Ta. Look forward to hearing from you all.

I'll let you decide whether I'm appropriate, Ted:

- talented graphically? NOT REALLY, BUT I CAN BUY AND SELL!
- skilled in producing XHTML/CSS based site designs? WHAT'S THAT THEN?
- artistic? SOME PEOPLE HAVE CALLED ME AN ARTIST!
- are available to do work every now and again? AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T INTERFERE WITH MY HOLIDAYS!

Looks like you're about as suitable as me, then, sir.

Here's an idea. It's by no means a universal solution for all your needs Ted, but how about making some of the periodic PH graphic needs into irregular 1-off competitions? Obviously it's not appopriate for some things, but it can lighten the load and give those of us with some (small) talent in graphics or whatever a chance to contribute.

Just a thought.

I would be very interested in working with piston heads.

I have three years + with asp and a good amount of asp.net 2.0 under my belt. I specialise in web marketing and have built a number of highly optimised database driven websites. CSS, yes. XHTML, yes.

I wouldn’t call myself a graphic designer, although I think I get by ok.

My website is www.4everweb.com Have a look and see what you think. I am off snowboarding for a week tomorrow morning, but would be happy to talk on my return. My numbers are 0870 4296071, 07973288569.

Maybe the internet knows about irony - that link doesn't work: 'page cannot be found' ??? Even without the full stop at the end

What size of 'mini projects' are we talking ted? (half day, day, week etc)

My designer is on a longterm contract at present, but if its only small (3-4 figure jobs) then I am sure I can squeeze some extra work out of him.

I got bored, so here's a little something:

Give me a little time and I shuold be able to get the head bouncing and the pistons jiggling appropriately. It's ages since I animated 3D so I need to blow some cobwebs off!

I can help with the XHTML/CSS and I have a lot of Graphic Designer freelancers that I work with (cos I'm not an artist.)

I'm busy, but never too busy to fit one more job in...
