Need to re-glue the rubber seal that goes down the front of the door pillar/hood to seal against window glass - what's the best stuff to use ?

Thought about Evo stick contact adhesive but it'll be a devil to get the seal on without it bonding in the wrong place. Looks like the original glue was some kind of rubber solution type stuff - similar to evostick ?

Don't remember mine being glued! but if you know for a fact they are glued, I'd use SIKAFLEX. It's available at boat chandlers and good auto factors e.g. PARTCO

The seal is designed to just push on. Because the fibre glass varies in thickness however you may need to use a rubber mallet. Be carefull not to split the rubber though. The only place that was fastened with silicon when i changed all my seals last year was the front bottom corner where it came around onto the sill. I suspect however that this was due to the old seal leaking and the previous owner trying to cure it.

Does this include the seal that goes up and over the rear of the hood to seal onto the roof panel ?

Yes,it pushes/knocks on just the same. Just put a little supa glue on the ends that overhang the targa for the door to seal against ( Or sika flex/silicon.)... Otherwise every time you catch the seal with your shoulder it comes off..The only other place that needs any help is where the seal comes up to meet the targa. It is glued and rivited on at the end due to the severity of the curve on the last two inches.
