Oh sarcasm, is it.

If I tuned up it would be with the popcorn and the fun of watching the fireworks. I wouldn't let my car do the screaming high rev thing for all the tea in china.

with the possible exception of someone mapping my car when I finally go emerald

Either way, definitely be there!

PS. I have changed tact on the phoenix development, and have decided I will share the full gory techy details, but not online, when the full DVD is done, you and others interested will get a copy as long as I have a signed NDA in return

Oh thats good news. P.S. I'm now confused, your website nearly deafened me with glitz and promptly fell over when all I could hear was the sound of screeching tyres and then nothing......

Now I do sit behind an NHS firewall and most stuff falls over, but was this about the santa pod stuff or the austec rolling road.

I have a feeling I might need a box for the answer.

If you're referring to Ashs/Nicks Austec drag race video, then it didn't play properly for me with Netscape but then I tried with Explorer and it was fine.

that's the late great jason bennet in his 4.5 (jasonben off here) .. emeralded cerbie running 390brake. a 12.3 / 119mph regular and king of demon starts.

some of those runs in the vids were with a broken gearbox too!

the other rapid black cerbie is the 4.2 of david smith off here .. i think he did a 12.9 which for a 4.2 is stunning. he also gets great traction off hte loine, unlike me :s

We've booked looking forward to it

would appreciate any advice for a complete novice though, I've been to santa pod loads of times in the past and they all do a burnout at the start, we don't have to do that, do we??

The good thing about not doing a burn-out is that if th wheels spin up badly off the line, you can blame it on cold slippery tyres. If you do a burn out and still fluff the start, you are kind of cornered!

ok...so no burn out..not that I would have been able to do one anyway and Mark keeps telling me I'm going to fluff the start by stalling it
