My new Elise - photos!

I picked my Elise up today

Here are the photos, as promised:






They're not that good, as they were taken in fading light. I realised that I had to stop driving it to get out and take photos, which I didn't want to do

Also saw your a singer? I was a singer too till 7 years ago, once in a while I still praktizese but when I go out my voice is gone of all the smoke in the bar/disco and you have to shout to talk

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I am over the moon with the car. It is so nice to drive, and unlike my Caterham that I sold last year I will be driving it everyday!

Thanks for the kind comments! Our music is very new; we haven't played a gig yet actually. We're currently recording an album - in fact we decided which tracks to put on it tonight. Should be available within a month or two hopefully, with gigs to back it up. I'll definately post when we have our first gig lined up

Oh, the colour is Atlantic Blue. An official Lotus colour, but only produced for a short period before Magnetic Blue came out. The car's September '03 (MY 04).

The snow was definately there this morning - it was heavy snow and settling! Once I'd arrived at the dealer though and picked up the Elise the sun came out and shone all afternoon

I love it the way it is actually

The one thing that I do need to do though is fit a Momo wheel and extend the steering wheel towards me using a spacer. I have very long legs and short arms and find the car very tricky to drive at the moment as my legs are jammed up under the wheel and my arms out straight! I wish Lotus had thought of people like me when they designed a 'Stirling Moss' driving position into their car!

No you don't - impressions of Rob while he was driving my car, is that he knows a thing or two about driving. I suspect the only thing I would see of Rob on the track was him waving as he lapped me.
