It looks like its all goint a bit quiet for a while - so how about a Chistmas blat over the holiday?

Heres the plan..Sunday 29th December, we are based in Bromley & were considering a run to Brighton on that day.

Give us an idea of numbers & I will sort out meeting places, times, etc.

If the weathers crap its all round mine for a cuppa!!

Nick,

Can't make next Sunday I'm afraid, taking my daughter to a fellow year old's birthday party!

Perhaps see you all tomorrow though?

Cheers,

Hi Nick

The 29th shouldn't be to bad and it'll give me a chance to take the Cerbera for a spin, I'll ask Les tonight at the Kent meet - are you popping along?

Cheers
Paul

Being slightly wimpish have you organised nice dry roads, don't want to get my car too dirty !!!

Evening all

We will have a chat tonight about times etc & I will post on here tomorrow.
The last few times we have met at Clackets Lane services on the M25 - seems to work quite well.
At this stage I would guesse a mid morning meet, will let you know more asap.

This is starting to look a bit good!!
I have spoken to Andy the E.Sussex TVRCC R.O. tonight to see if anyone from the area would like to join us..between us we have come up with a cunning plan.

Meet at Clackets at 10.00am & plan to leave there by 10.20, as we pass J6 of the M25 (Godstone)@10.30 we will pick up 3-4 other cars, down M23 to Pease Pottage services. Anyone coming from a different direction could meet us there at @ 10.45.

Leave Pease Pottage @ 11.00am & blat to Brighton. If we head for the sea front & park in Madeira Drive (to the left of the pier) avoiding shoppers in multi storey car parks. Bring plenty of change for the meters.

Find a suitable watering hole for lunch, drink etc..Im sure some people may want to go for a blast around the Sussex countryside after lunch & arrangements can be made on the day.

Hope this sounds OK. I think we could have a pretty good turn out, so far looking at @ 12 cars or more & thats just counting those meeting at Clackets & J6!

Contact me via my profile if you want any more details.

Happy Christmas everybody

Nick

Big Al.

Are you going to have a blast up to Godstone and back, or just going straight to Brighton?

I'm Brighton-based, but feel the need for a decent drive, so I'm aiming to go up to Clackett Services or Godstone...

Hi juliannhj,
Already got a prior early Sunday morning, so I intend to go straight over to Brighton. If I can wangle out of it I'll give you a shout, could do with a good blast!

Al/Julian

Good to hear from you - you could always join us at Pease Pottage services if you want. The guys joining us at Godstone will be doing so by means of mobile phone calls as we approach from Clackets - its quite fun, last time we blasted past the rev-erand as he came flying out the slip road to join us! Must have been quite a sight for the other people on the road.

Let us know what your plans are so we can keep an eye out for you.

Also, have a think about where might be a good place for lunch near Madeira Drive.

See you Sunday

Nick
