Window Washer Mod
Discussion
I upgraded the pathetic washer pipes for the front windscreen this week. For about £2!
Some 3mm diameter copper pipe & some heatshrink later and i have managed to get a really good washer system that looks a great deal neater than the original pipes.
Basically i cut the pipe to just shorter than the wiper arm, covered the pipe with black heatshrink and drilled three tiny holes in it all in a line. Block up one end of the pipe with epoxy and the other end i slid inside the current wiper tubing and secured with a trusty tie wrap.
I even managed to re-use the old pipe fitting to attach to the wiper blade - the 3mm pipe with heatshrink on fits perfectly...
Looks neat & works great, will get some pics if anyones interested.
