Thanks for coming down guys, great fun as always.

What we established today was that remapped/induction kitted Cerbs don't breath easily or reach the required load cell in the map on third gear pulls, but non mapped cars do (Achiev very similar results in both gears. Hence we have switched to fourth gear pulls from now on.

The reasoning behind this is that the standard cars will continue to pull the same figs in 4th (as we have tested) but the remapped cars run to their full potential.

Oh, and the highest cerb title has just been upped

Just got nack from SRR, it was a good day, so thanks to the guys who arranged it.
My car - the Rosso Red bog standard 1997 4.2 made 343.10 hp, so I'm pretty pleased with that really. And thanks to Paus of Austec for taking my car for a quick spin and giving me his expert advice on what needs doing.

Any more

Yes nice to met some fellow Cerb owners, thanks to Charlie for organising it.

Well pleased with my run 369bhp, but as Gareth can also feel a re-map/induction looming.

All I can say about the highest run is well 434bhp!!! (i think) I'm sure the lucky guy will be posting all the stats soon.

Howard

My 98R (standard) 4.5 made 368(.2) hp (at about 6900) and 340ftlb (at about 4100). Torque was dropping off from about 5500.

(Excuse: running a bit rough, maybe throttle pot probs. )

It's the first time I've had it on the rollers, so I'll look forward to comparing it with when it "feels" a bit better.

Interesting day out, with a few chats to fellow cerb owners. Mostly about child seats, as I recall

Lasting memories: cold and loud. Very.

Sorry about that but was most useful

Anyhow as for numbers, came away with head held high with a 365bhp from my lowly 4.2 - great to meet some folks and have a chinwag. Had to slope off as fingers were going blue so only just seen now that someone posted a big number, shame I missed it but hats off - that is huge.

See you all again some time - only day five for me of proper ownership but this thing is leaving me gobsmacked - safe to say I am loving it.

No worries, you weren't the only one! Anyway, it's always good to help someone out in that respect. It's certainly advice which has been helpful when given to me over the last few years before ours were born.

Anyway, I wish I'd known you-were-you when I was talking with you - I've seen your car at Steve's place a few times and would have given you a pummelling for all the details

first rolling road session I've been to, and what a great day, well done Charlie

good to meet so many cerbs and their owners

And yes it was bloody cold, but managed to stay all day and it was worth it just to hear all those cars being thrashed

and if anyone is interested our 4.5 cerbera with Austec re-map, gave 402HP and drives like a dream

Sitting in the garage mostly unused all winter probably wasnt the best idea? He's badly in need of a service. 17bhp down on the last run at Charlie's

You've really gotta keep these beauties in tip top shape to get the best out of them, dont you!

On the plus side, I bought a pair of track silencers off ACT Tim. Tried them on his car and it brought the noise down from 118dba to 91dba. Very impressive

Shame about the car, nothing obvious then, as I know Paul was around and would have sorted any quick fixes.

re the silencers, blimey thats an impressive reduction you could have a 118db car and still get into Goodwood .
