Wheel refurb / leak
Discussion
Has anyone ever done anything about the "leaky" RL17s, with respect to actually resolving the leaking problem?
Is it feasible to get the wheel "sealed" (or something) to stop the leaking?
I much prefer the look of the original 17s rather than the 18" spiders (if that isn't a crime!) so would rather not change if the situation arose.

Anyone know if there's a handy wheel refurb place in North hants / Reading area? I suppose it's a tyre-off & blast job? The lacquer doesn't look great on one of them.
Tyre off, acid clean, full inspection (Looking for cracks) then repaint and lacquer.

but they wont weld alloy wheels if they are cracked. If that happens give me a shout. I had my wheel welded and x-rayed by the place I work for, Aeronautical Enginering.
