Hi guys, whilst contacting www.jhp.com.au in regards to a group buy on their RipShifters for US GTO forum members I happened to ask them about gauges, they said they can get dual calibration gauges.

Might make a nice upgrade for those who have imported their vehicles. Contact if you are intersted is Geoff - JHP Vehicle Enhancements [geoff@jhp.com.au]

Hi Richard,

I'm looking at getting a GTO from the states, but heard the gearshift in the M6 is a bit poor. Does the Ripshifter fit the GTO pattern which seems to have the Reverse up in top right?

Also re the guages, I thought the standard guage on the GTO can be changed to Kmh by way of a display code change. Where can I find how to do this. I need the guage to show Kmh to get through the local motor registration.

Can you help in this regard,

Thanks

Lux

Yes the rip shifters work fine, basically the car is the same as the monaro.
So most things fit ok.

I think the KM and Miles referrs only to the electronic display not the needle.
Someone with one here will certainly be able to clarify that.

Otherwise the gauges arnt too pricey, or just put a sticker over the MPH label.
You might even be able to swap with someone here who has a kmph and needs a mph for UK.

Thanks,

I guess as long as I have one form or another to show I can calibrate in kmh, I may not need to format dial? I'll have to check.

But I take it there are a few GTO's in the UK then??

A little curious about the calibration.

I know on my mates UK supplied Monaro, he can easily switch between a KPH display, and MPH display, using the wee buttons on the trip computer thingy, left hand side of the instrument cluster.

Yep it does, if you change from MPH to KPH the Dial shows big green KPH and you are going faster

That sounds great, thanks rich.
When you say dual calibration gauges does that mean the whole lot or just an overlay showing kph and mph for the dials? I'll email him to see if they can do my 02 monaro.
