I just dont know what is going on?
in JCs top 100 cars it had a cerbera in the 30s
and in clarksons no limits he said "the tomora was the prettiest car to come out of blackpool."
When i heard what he said "There uncool
" i was shocked!!
clarkson the god of cars, and he calls TVRS uncool!!!
I own a tuscan and i like all tvrs, there fast, cool,
look great [the best looking cars i have seen in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
some one should E mail top gear and tell him " TVRS ARE COOL!!!!!"

Didn't see the prog, but surely someone who has as much social influence as JC pronouncing that TVR's are uncool must be a good thing!
This should help keep the marque in the hands of enthusiasts rather than spotty yoof/fashion victims with too much money. Moreover the pricing might continue to reflect value rather than perceived desirability/cachet.

judging by JC's waistline etc etc he's saying HE loves them therefore...
I'm afraid his taste moves with his bank balance, he's loved TVR's since the GRIFF first appeared, but nowadays with the video millions and a HUGE place in the country, it has to be a KIN expensive merc.

If you follow the 'monkey boys done good' ramblings 
you'll have noted that he tried, unsuccessfully, to get his misses to buy a Tamora recently, so its not as if he doesn't think it's a good car.
As has already been said it's more of a perception thing, it's also JC's train set, agree or not. I'm not so sure if he played by his own rules where that would put his own 'boulevard cruiser' though

Hang on a minute, if you have to wear your belt high in a TVR then you'd have to do it up over your head in an SL

Now..now....to be fair to the poor disillusioned guy, J.C. did say that performance and pure driving ooomph were not under consideration.
However....someone find the sad little toad that said yellow was uncool and hold him under water for 3 days!!!!!!!
