Re-veneered dash - Shameless plug

Just got my dash and heater panel back from Malcolm at London Carriage Craft. Looks stunning and am looking forward to having a dashboard thats not a mixture of crappy veneer and bare metal......

Malcolm took me on a tour of the workshop and went through the various processes showing bits and bobs in various stages of completion for all sorts of cars. Top bloke and made me appreciate how much time and effort goes into the prep, veneering, flatting, lacquering etc etc etc. Didn't realise it was so involving but to be honest, I can understand why after seeing the results.

A possible helpful hint for anyone else doing this...to get the placement of the brackets back on the dashboard I drilled an indent at the four corners of each bracket into the back of the panels. Means that even with the black coating that LCC put on the back of the panel you can still line up the metal brackets to araldite in place.

Anyway, after such a shameless plug I do have a quick query regarding the LED's on the heater panel. Did I read in one of the other posts that there is a reliable source for the flat triangular ones ? If so, can someone remind me or repost the details again.

Got to agree, really superb work. LCC did my heater panel a couple of years back, puts the dash to shame, which reminds me.

Got my dash re-veneered by LCC and fitted by Austec september last year.

Looks so much better than the old one (Which had really started to disintegrate very badly over the previous 6 months) - money well sepnt as far as I am concerned!!

Have to agree re LCC. You just know quality when you see and feel it; LCC do quality work. It's good to find people who take pride in their work these days; the LCC sticker on the back says they do, and it shows.
