thinking about going down the private route to ownership and have spotted a 4.5 red rose in the classifieds on here www.pistonheads.com/sales/67062.htm
does anyone know anything about this car?
also does anyone know anyone in the leicester area who i could get to check it out?
and thirdly is £25k a fair price?

Think it is an ok price albeit some at Fernies are in same ball park BUT it is perfect spec ie RR, black, loads of extras etc...

Very true, hadn't trolled though the advets, only saw the link.

...however the only thing missing is the acute shortage of a blonde twentysomething with legs akimbo spread-eagled over the bonnet .....but that only happens on silvery bluey-green Cerbs

Danny's car was great - saw it at a TVRCC trackday and it seemed to be the quikest out of any of the cars there that day (pre RR) - saw it on the rollers first time round when it produced 351bhp (one of the first 4.5's to go on the rollers with Phill Octave/ ours.) Then later saw it when it was in for its first service after a rebuild to RR spec (purely for power, engine was sweet as a nut before then, but the factory agreed to have it rebuilt to RR spec - it was the first to have that done too!!) The things people do for more power...

I know Danny used it properly and looked after it accordingly, I expect the same can be said of its next owner who occaisionally posted up here.

well sounds like i may have to have a word with the owner on this one if it that well sorted i guess it got to be worth getting it checked out its slightly more than i wanted to pay but when all is said and done it is gorgeuos

seems its white ones, well since the Saturdays rolling road with 434HP.
