Lookin' good Matt.
I like the dash - how have you got the effect? Removed all old veneer and polished the steel the veneer is stuck to or is that a stick on stainless effect sheet? - It Looks good.
I don't think the photos show the true colour of the car though - it is a far nicer and ....richer colour in the flesh.

Your wedge is identical in every respect to mine - ocean blue colour , except mine's a 390 with wood dash ; I love this colour - not many about - so I,m biased but she looks like mine - beautiful and brutal at the same time !

Well the bike isnt mine, its my mates who i went for a blast with today! Between us we woke up a few sleepy villagers!!!

The dash is the veneer stripped off and then smothed as much as possible then its basically one large sheet of adhesive plastic. I got the stuff from a local graphics shop who use this decal material which can withstand really high temperatures without bubbling. They do all of the Minis for the local BMW centre with the same material!

Took quite a while to pull and streatch to get rid of bubbles! Its not 100% perfect, but i am very critical! Im really happy with the look though!

The colour is so hard to get on camera! Looks so so so good in the flesh tho!

Combine, you have the only other Ocean Blue one ive seen...!

There was if I can remember correctly one other ocean blue wedge at the fest last year - should show up on the dvd - and I think Beacon has an ocean blue 390 he has just bought recently - thought I was the only one , damn ! Maybe there should be a meet up of these rare wedges , a bit like the yellow peril tvr meet up ?

if you use a air dryer and warm up the plastic first the film 2rd
sretch the firm over the plastic and us a pin when you get an a bubble when it cools down the film shinks slighty getting rid of the bubbles

Looks very similar colour to mine and Andy390's

Hope you never have to get part of it painted as no one knows the exact colour

Out of interest what does the body plate say for the colour ?

I went the same silvery way on the dash except smooth silver hammerite sprayed on to a very sanded backing plate and must say it tend's to make the interior look a bit more modern.
Mine now has blue seats in it as the original beige were worn beyond belief.

Well, the colour according to the body code and TVR's records says that it is VW ocean blue. Im going to order a touch up this week so i hope its going to be easy! Ive got a local paint shop who do colour match toget the colour the same as on the car to compensate for fade etc! Hopefully it will be the same!!

The photos are indeed taken at the Goodwood starting straight! I live near goodwood and you can drive in normally. Its a large golf course so i dont think your supposed to go too often but noones ever said anything to me! Its really odd seeing the house and fields so empty!

I must admit, i wanted to change the colour of the dash as the veneer had gone, it seemed like a good excuse! The side strips on the door have been painted the colour of the car too so even more of an excuse to do something different i thought!

i shall e-mail you as close up wedgetable as soon as i get the chance to take a piccy!

Well Beacon, wheni saw the car i thought 'spoiler is number one on the mod list!' but now im not so sure....i quite like it without...but then, if i had one i wouldnt take it off!!

Im sure everyone has different thoughts on it, but i guess its what your used to!

Im not brave enough to take it out in the wet yet!...wanna start doing some sideways though! Ive got to get some new rear tyres soon as they have been on the car for quite a whle so the walls are strating to show their age, dont want any mishaps when im driving along! real shame though, all that tread.... Migt have to practise my potential hooliganism! I guess thats obligatory for TVR ownership though isnt it???!

Wedgtable - Red lion?? It has been a while since youve been here! The best places to drink is the Folly and the George (the one which used to be really crappy but isnt now!) Im always up for some wedge talk! Always an excuse for a beer and the A272 blast!

Matt, I think you meant Waynester. However i will be down in Brighton mid March and if you look at the map that is an awesome run for me and would love to see your baby for real although she will show me up badly as my 350i is under going a rolling restoration.

Matt, Just a suggestion have you thought about polishing the centre part of your steering wheel? i think it would fit quite nicely with the rest of the interior.
