Hey all!

Just a quickie - does anyone know anything about the 2000 Tuscan X741 OBA in orange that's currently at HL Gorner?

It has full TVR history, carbon cans and Nitrons so well specced and it's had 2 owners from new so that suggests it's a goodun

Anything to add?

Cheers,

TT

Edit: I realise that being a 2000 it's an early one but as long as it comes with a decent warranty (and coming from a TVR dealer it should) that should be covered

Sorry don't know about that car but I bought my Tuscan from there last year & it has been fantastic as was the service I received from Mike. Just one thing to note make sure your warranty is an independant one as Gorners are currently in Administration.

Thanks
howard.

If they are an official TVR dealer (which I believe they are) surely the warranty would be a TVR one anyway (I live a long long way from Wigan and would not want to have to take the car back there for warranty work!)? Would the warranty not be like the one you can go and purchase from your local dealer for any 2nd hand TVR (subject to it passing their tests)?

Thanks for the info though!

Hi, I bought a Chim from Mike Clark last year...the warranty from Gorners is usually a 12 month RAC backed one. Not sure about the orange one..but Blackpool TVR have just offloaded a load of cars with Gorners...hence the current Sale (not noticed sale prices though!!). I've got a new Tuscan on order from gorners...watching the current situation carefully...the story from last week was that they laided off 39 people...TVR told me their problems should be solved by End of Feb..not heard anything from Mike Clark yet.

Something is telling me to steer well clear.... love the spec and colour but a 2000 car with potentially no warranty and from a dealer going under is just too scary for me

Have pretty much decided I want one by spring though!
