It hasnt had good reviews has it? needs to much reving to get in the power. and side by side to the triumph daytona 675, I'd have the triumph.
The reviews I've read have been pretty positive. The only downside seems that it's very focused and might be a pain for day to day use.
I've yet to see a 675 in the flesh - are they as tiny as they look?

Thanks for that! I've read great reviews about it....otherwise I wouldn't have bought one!
In Bike magazine the "tester" said that it wasn't the best bike in each category etc...but at the end of the day he'd pick the R6. Of course it's not for everyone, but I honestly haven't seen a better looking bike, just my opinion of course. Re the reving, it feels just like a 250 or something below 6k, but that just makes it easy to ride around town. Reviews have said it's shite for commuting on, but I've just started this week and absolutely love it.

The 675 is a lovely, lovely looking bike....almost as nice as the R6

Rode a 675 last week, bloomin sexy!! Yes its small, but I find all the 600's too small for me so thats not objective. on paper it has a higher seat height than the R6
I rode a 2002 R6 and that wasn't as fun. In the mags there seems little to choose between them, but as said above, the R6 comes across as very track focussed, but that was the aim for the 6, the R1 has been pushed into the road going version to differentiate the two models.
side by side:::
