Getaway in stockholm.

it was shite!!!
now i know they say they had more camera locations and they had to destroy film - to be expected really if you going to drive 186mph+ through a city...
but i was expecting more than just a camera stuck on the front bumper of a cossie...
the least they could of done was have one on the supra as well,
also, i know i've never driven a 450bhp cosworth but to me it seemed the driver wasn't that good...
changing up in a corner, then having to change down as he has no (well, relatively speaking) power etc...
i was not impressed...
though i was impressed they had the balls to do it etc...

I thought that Getaway 1 & 2 were ace. On the DVD it showed what happened to various other cameras (they broke pretty early on - the side one got smashed & the rear one just stopped)
Personally I think the drivers were both excellent technically (you could argue differently about putting people's lives at risk obviously) - did you notice the road conditions - mostly dry bit with various greasy wet patches.
It is very difficult to stay that focused & "on-it" for so long without screwing up & overcooking it somewhere, especially at those speeds - from what I could work out from listening to what gear he was in, he was doing > 130MPH for much of the time. I have driven cars with about 300BHP & I can assure you that even that can be a handful - even with 4WD, good tyres & a well setup chassis.
For something like that I don't think you get many out-takes. Either a hearse, or if you are lucky a prison cell with the key thrown away....

i'm having a few problems with the law and video production company but "getaway in sharnbrook" should be out middle-late march all things going well...
it features my sony handcam ducktaped to the front of my vauxhall cavalier racing around the village with my mate in his suzuki sj, he manages to record a speed of over 30.0km/h don't you know!!! (thats 18.6mph!!!)
the local plod in their vauxhall bravo pickup didn't have a chance against my 100bhp beast round the twisty streets of a north beds village!!!
