TVR Roof-Down Hard-Man

Was that a PHer I saw on Saturday morning, driving a dark blue Chimaera along the Blandford Bypass, in horrible wet, foggy, weather, with the roof down?

If so you are, as they say, "well hard".

Me and Rude Girl were out in the (blue) Chim on sunday, roof off but not Blandford (that's Dorset right, nowhere near northampton / lincoln which is where we were). yippee. glad to hear someone else was out there with us

I aspire to his greatness when it comes to roof down motoring. I thought I was hard core until BTaP and the last VW meet.

Sorry to disappoint you Don, however it was NOT me. There is some other idiot out there as mad as me . My Chimaera is green rather than blue and I was on hangover recovery and more Aubergine Pickle manufacture (see lime pickle thread) on Saturday. Sunday however was a different matter, slightly damp under foot I managed to wash the car and go for a short blast over Zig Zag hill to make sure everything is A1 for the Xmas period, top off of course .

Had a blast yesterday in the Mojo, went four miles one way-drizzle, four miles another way fog /spray, 2 miles another way and found a DRY road and blue sky!! (well almost as good as after months af rain and no sunshine) MoJo.

Bob - where is this "Zig-Zag hill" of which you speak? I've never heard of that one...

Tis on the B3081 nearby Shaftsbury, ZigZag Hill be the name of the road with hairpin bends and interesting right angle turns. Tis no fun at all in a RWD car (even less so in the wet with the leaves on it )

If you find the holy hill you will become one of the coverted. Maybe we should move any further discussion to 'Roads'
