As title says. If I have a computer with a TV card can you stream the video/audio to another computer via a network? Reason being I would like to put a small footprint computer in the kitchen and have the TV pictures sent over via the network.

Any software or freeware that does this?

There is probably a better way but could you not just set up a remote desktop connection via Win XP, this way you would see whatever was on the screen of the remote pc and also give access to all its functions. Think you need to have Pro running on the host but any other windows on the kitchen one would do. Might not work however if you wanted to use the other PC at the same time as it effectively logs out and returns it the login screen.

Ah yes, I could try that But I thought that the TV card writes directly to the video buffer (ie not CPU processed) for speed.
