A gun's magazine found near the wreckage may be connected to the accident, and a Scottish bank says it might own the destroyed car.

"Eriksson told deputies that he was the passenger and that a man he knew only as "Dietrich" was behind the wheel. But detectives have been openly skeptical of the story, noting that Eriksson had a bloody lip and that the only blood they found in the car was on the driver's-side air bag."

It beggars belief that he was able to ship about £1.5 million worth of UK registered cars to the US when the finance company was chasing them for reposession.
I thought that these re-po boys were pretty "on the ball".
What's the bet that he gets off with a fine.
Reports over on Ferrarichat say that the Mercedes SLR he has was stolen and wanted by the Police here also. The Enzo that crashed also had no valid insurance and wasn't even allowed to be driven on the public highway due to import restrictions.

Good structural integrity of the passenger cell shown, though.
Not sure you can make that claim on the evidence. SUrely if the accident happened at that speed then they were just lucky to survive ? I assume that the car must have sideswiped the pole taking the rear of the car off and the came to a halt and maybe hit something with the front as it was slowing?

I dont know so much ,, this is what the 3rd big Enzo smash i have seen pics of and they all seem to look very similar , i think its because carbon fibre is so strong the car is made to disintergrate on impact like this
