In Harston near Cambridge about half a mile away from the Porsche garage there.

Only saw the PH press pics last night so was mighty shocked to see one in the flesh this afternoon! It was white.

Beautiful looking car, and I hope equally beautiful to drive on road and track.

Any chance that it was a C2 with the GT3-type wing, which has been available as an option for a while?

Can't be 100% bUT IT DEF HAD THE FRONT LOWER GRILLE FROM THE gt3 PICS AND THE SAME SPOILER. (CAPS OFF

I am pretty sure it was the new GT3. Could it have been the demo car going round all the dealers to show the sales guys its +points so they can sell them?

Planning on popping in tomorrow to ask.

Greg.

I've been to the Geneva motor show today where both the 997 Turbo and GT3 had their world premieres so I can't imagine you saw a real one - more likely a 997 Carrera with body kit. Car won't be driven by anyone until later this spring but I can confirm it is truly a stunning looking car...

Or possibly a 997 GT3 Carrera Cup car? They've been around for 6 months or so...

You are right ans I am a numpty!

Popped in at the weekend and it was the one above in the pic.

Very nice looking car.

Is it kosher in Porsche land to make one car look like another then?

It would be a bit sad in my book to make a Ferrari 360 modena look like a CS or make my Noble 3R look like an M400. Why is it so tollerated by Porsche dealers and buyers?

/shrug makes the car look nicer and as long as you don't change the badges who cares? If the badges are changed, I think it says something rather uncomplimentary about the owner...
