Its that time of year again, the dreaded MOT.

Its my daily car and has been running very well, apart from a little knocking behind drivers seat. Suspension?

It Failed! On what looks like a small crack/fracture in the chassis, o/s rr. Right next to where the trailing arm mounts on the chassis.

Small bit of welding.....

How wrong could I be? Absolutely devastated!!

Yes, body off, whole side of chassis sections needs to be replaced. If am doing one side, might as well do both......HELP !!!!!!!

Unlucky mate...... can't say more then that... its like announcing a serious illness called rust (if you don't laugh you cry.... )

-he only posts a few times.... but l just love the name.... and remember Andys Hills face when he turned up in his white S alomost black with road grim at Xmas draw a few years ago (now that was priceless)

quite looking forward to the project now, after the initial shock. But not sure about the welding bit though!!

More Racing have just welded up Dave Higgins car and done a good job , worth considering if you can get it there.

Wont be for a while though, just about to move house, and also buy another car for daily use .

did'nt realise me turning up at Offord was so memorable.....
