I need to source a model (or at least get a quote for one) in the Essex/Suffolk area. Can anyone recommend a ddecent model agency or possibly an individual please? The brief is '50-ish', slim, stylish'.

Ta!

They denied my application to sign up to there, are they kind of elitist? I don't have a professional web site for my photography and the reason stated was 'not enough info supplied'. Twice.

Exactlt the same here.

I emailed pointing out that each question was answered and they have not replied yet.

OK, I have three sources now.

NB A website full of 18 y/o wannabes is not a modelling agency

I have joined your club:
agency that doesn't want customers said:

Your account at UK Photo Models has been denied.
Reason for Denial
Invalid / Insuffient information supplied.

...which is ridiculous because I told them clearly that I wanted to hire. I'm hardly a teen wannabe trying to break into modelling!

Conclusion: Muppets. I'll leave them to their teen chatter.

I've been accepted.

However - I'm not sure I want to be part of a club that would have me as a member...

I know for a fact that Mr Mapey doesn't need to book models, ergo he's just a lecherous old sod

Unless you're planning to drape some about your showroom...?
