Hi all,

Just purchased another Mazda MX6, (1994) and to my sheer bewilderment, have found that there are no seatbelt anchors in the rear seats. The seatbelts are there, and the gaps in the rear seats where the anchors should be are also there, but no seatbelt anchors for some reason.

Does anyone have a theory as to why this might be the case? And also, can seatbelt anchors be fitted by any garage, or would i be better taking it to a Mazda dealer?

Thanks

aldi

I hope I'm not being a frikkin idiot here, but could they be folded down under the rear seats if the rear seats are hinged?

Not being an idiot at all sir - a few people have suggested this. I did have a rummage around, but will have a much better look tomorrow just to see if they are hidden away under the seat

In the RX7 they zip up into little pockets in the seat, but the zips really well hidden too and youd have to have a real look for it.

Might be the same.

Chaps you were right! Would you believe the little fellas were there all along, tucked up neatly under the rear seats!

Cheers
