My cars steering wheel is not alligned. It is tilting to the right when I am going stright. It happened after it went for 36000 service at OPC, they also did wheel geometry check as a pre requisite for the warranty. Is this some thing simple to fix? can any garage do this or do you think I have to take it back to the OPC. This would be a pain as I live 60 miles away from it. Any advice please.
They're supposed to re-align the steering wheel after a geometry check. They didn't finish the job.

Either that or its perfectly aligned on a flat surface like a workshop floor but needs a tiny amount of lock to counteract the camber of the road?
Just out of curiousity, how is the steering wheel aligned? Is it that when the geometry is right, the steering wheel is removed and put back at the right angle or it is something more more complex? Any offers
remove wheel and replace to 'look' right I think
hardly measure up track rod ends with a ruler, just to straighten the badge for the driver
According to the Porsche manual the wheel is held in the straight ahead position by a clamp in the vehicle. The technician then tweaks the track rod ends etc.

When an OPC did my alignment they managed to get the wheel about 45 degrees out. Having the equipment is one thing, understanding it's use is another.
PARR have been the ONLY people to get my steering anything like straight.
