I am getting about 40 mpg from the Clio at the moment is this good or bad ?

Is that liquid yellow? Not seen many V6s in that colour, looks damn fine!


Also what clio is it you have? the 1.2s should do a bit more than that i think. My 182 can sometimes get 40 on a long run, but goes down to 28 around town. Still I didn't buy the thing for MPG

tbh, I think the 172/182 return pretty good mpg for a car of this sort. Over the course of a weeks normal driving I get around 34mpg on average. It can go to around 42mpg on the motorway if I'm careful.

We get 65+ easily...

i get on average 27mpg on my 172 cup but if i drive it hard it can go down to 23ish and on the motorway i can get 35-40mpg!

How on earth do you manage that ?

My clio is a 1.4 Expression and I light with my right foot.

i get between 30-35 in my 172 cup

Im getting between 22mpg hard driving and 32mpg around town but goes well above 50mpg on motorways at 65mph ( but i dont do that at all

Mine has dropped into the high 20s now, it still has the common problem with the temp. sensor wiring being up the spout, hence running too rich.

My cup gives around 35mpg........as soon as my right foot gets pressed harder tho i can sometime dip to very low 30's
